The Spring Woods H.S. Band is a community
a family of musicians who enjoy making music while being together
The Spring Woods Band meets four days a week during the school day
and is split between five different classes - Front Ensemble, Jazz Band,
Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Battery Percussion Class. We match
our students to the appropriate class by audition, character, work ethic,
citizenship, teamwork, effort and conduct displayed throughout the year.
In the Summer and Fall, we meet as a marching band and have summer
rehearsals and after school rehearsals once school starts. In the Spring,
we meet in four different groups - Percussion, Jazz Band, Concert Band,
and Symphonic Band. Extra rehearsals are after school once or twice
a week depending on the group.
